Punta Cana International Airport Connector

Architectural Design, Wayfinding, Perceptional theories analysis, 3D modelling, Research

‘Punta Cana International Airport Connector’ is a proposal that takes place between two existing terminals and reinterprets the actual airport elements using them as orientation keys for the passengers. The wood highlights some of the values of Dominican culture. Vegetation inside the terminal allows the passenger to experience the highlights of the country qualities. The structure reflects the Caribbean, simulating a path through a forest of palm trees and also serving as the orientation from a geographical point of view.
